South Ealing Playgroup Committee & Staff

Playgroup activities

We’ve had a fun and active term with lots of baking, making and play. Including exciting music

sessions from Blackbird music, Tennis from Sports Hive, and sessions from the Rainbow Fairy. The

Giggle Company is also booked for entertainment at the Christmas Party on 20th December.

Cake Sale success

Thanks to everyone who contributed to our cake sale at the start of this half term. We made £81.27!

(Ingredients cost £14.90, so £66.37 profit will be put towards valuable resources for the children).

Meeting with Key Worker

End of term meetings with your child’s key worker are currently available for booking. Please arrange

an appointment to discuss your child’s progress.

Christmas Staff Collection

As Christmas is fast approaching we are starting a collection for our staff. If you would like to make a

donation please put it in an envelope marked for the attention of Clemmie Andrews (Committee

Secretary & Emmeline’s mum). A suggested donation of £5 - £10 per family would be lovely, but

anything you are able to give would be much appreciated by our hard working staff. A little

presentation for the staff is held at the end of term party on Friday 20th December.

Christmas Activities

The Christmas Party will be held on Friday 20th December 10-12noon. Please arrive at 10am with

your children for entertainment, Santa, the raffle and food. Please bring along a contribution to the

food table and a wrapped gift from Santa for your child (of no more than £5). A full letter with details

on the party will follow soon.

- This year, Lucy (Arthurs' mum) has done an amazing job of securing some really

exciting and generous Christmas raffle prizes. Tickets will be on sale from next week,

so keep an eye out for them in your book bags along with a full list of prizes!

- Christmas tea towels, with the children’s handprints on them, will also be available

to buy in the run up to Christmas.

Christmas shopping help

We currently still have space for children to attend extra ad hoc sessions (subject to availability) in the

run up to Christmas. If you would like to take some extra sessions, please allow 24 hours notice and

email your request to Fiona, our membership secretary (
