South Ealing Playgroup

Following the Annual General Meeting on 2nd October we welcomed a new parent Committee:

Clemmie Gilbert (Secretary) and her husband Johnny (Treasurer), Louise Bloom (Chair), Fiona Shorey

(continues as Membership Secretary), and Karen Pringle & Lucy Wayne (both acting as support for

Publicity and Fundraising). Jacqui Demachkie is also supporting our lunch club and petty cash. Thank

you to all our volunteers. We could not have a playgroup without you! The next Committee meeting is

8pm Wednesday 30th October. Please come along if you are free. Ask Ruth for details.

End of term meetings with your child’s key worker are available for booking at the end of November/

start of December. Please arrange an appointment to discuss your child’s progress.

Our Facebook page is updated regularly with the all exciting activities the children have been doing.

Highlights for this term include visits from the Rainbow Fairy, Tennis lessons and Music classes!

We will be having a cake sale the week of 4th-8th November. The children will be baking every day and

if you’re a keen baker yourself all donations of cakes/biscuits to sell will be gratefully accepted. All

proceeds will go towards the running of Playgroup activities.

We are holding an open morning for prospective families to visit on Monday 2nd December 9:30-11am.

Please let your friends and neighbours with young children know.

We currently have space for children to attend extra ad hoc sessions (subject to

availability) in the run up to Christmas. If you would like to take some extra sessions,

please allow at least 24 hours notice and email your request to Fiona, our membership

secretary (membership@southealingplaygroup.co.uk)
