We've been asked many times for our playdough recipe....enjoy!

you can use any size cup.. Jan uses a mug..

2 cups plain flour
1 cup salt
2 cups water
2 tablespoons oil
4 teaspoons cream of tartar

Bung it all in a saucepan and stir while heating.

It looks revolting but comes together nicely.

You can add colour with dry paint mix or food colouring.. but add the colouring to the 2 cups of water.

Refrigerate for a longer life.
If you'd like to make a small amount with your child, as we do at playgroup, this is the recipe we use...

use a small cup or bowl to mix it in..

2 tablespoons plain flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspon oil
water to mix

mix it all together until its a nice pliant ball, then take out of bowl and knead for a little while.

If you want to add colour, add to the water if using food colouring.. or to the dry mix if using powder paint.
